A day I would dare not forget, due
to my Gran and my Irish Aancestry
St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on the 17th March,
and is a religious feast day and the anniversary
of St Patrick's death
in the fifth century. The Irish have reserved this
day as a
religious holiday for thousands of years.
None the less, nothing takes it away from this day
being Irelands biggest party enjoyed all over the world.

My Wild Irish Rose
My Wild
Irish Rose,
The sweetest flower that grows.
You may search everywhere,
But none can compare with my wild Irish Rose.
My Wild Irish Rose,
The dearest flower that grows.
And someday for my sake,
She may let me take,
The bloom from my wild Irish Rose
Dolly Dolly Vadin
She dresses like a little flower garden
When she go by, the boys all cry,
there goes dolly dolly vardin.
Mary Mathews
I have wonderful memories of Gran
and the times she shared
telling us the tales of Ireland.

May luck be our companion
May friends stand by our side
May history remind us all
Of Ireland's faith and pride.
May God bless us with happiness
May love and faith abide.
'Tis better to buy a small bouquet
And give to your friend this very day,
Than a bushel of roses white and red
To lay on his coffin after he's dead.
Now tell a woman why she
ended up a florist.?
They say ole florist never die, they just turn into compos.

The Luck Of The Irish
Finding a
four-leaf clover
The wearing of the green
Kissing the blarney stone

Happy St Patrick Day
Go mbeannai Dia duit
(May God Bless You)
